You can find details about the IEO on the official OceanEx website. In the exclusive interview with Business Insider, Jur’s CEO and founder Alessandro Palombo talked about his vision for growth. Parisian Marc Zeller works for a cryptocurrency brokerage firm by day. By night, and on weekends, he helps decide cases as a juror for the crowdsourced blockchain dispute resolution system Kleros. The 39 year old has judged 35 disputes over the past six months and made 10.5 Ether and 229,000 Pinakion tokens in rewards — in total, worth around $3,200. Most cases take no longer than five minutes to decide — though he has spent days diving into the technical details of a couple of particularly complex disputes.

Jur Brand Logos

Previous Jur’s concept logo is as follows: there are three J intersected between them - as Jur is composed out of three letters, a game of shapes and numbers. Jur is like the entrance to a decentralized legal system. J stands for Justice, Jurisdiction, Jus/Jur (which in Latin means law).

Whereas for the new logo, the ‘J’ and ‘R’ from the logo represents the two parties (for and against) whereas, the 'U' symbolizes the union ship between the two. Also, a square is added with the letter J which represents the chip, narrating the digital presence of the brand.

Jur Brand Colors

We loved our gradients as they appeared very sleek and modern, but we decided to make a shift with our colors. Make them flat and consistent

.

Our new color system revolves around two shades of blue, one represents the tech side of Jur, whereas the other represents the legal side of Jur. Both of the shades are used to highlight important concepts and/or links.

We have also introduced Jur tint blue which will be used as the brands background color in different collaterals.

Jur Brand Typography

Our previous brand typogaphy was Montserrat, which is all about Titling. It’s the main font, letters are wide, large. It’s the logo font aswell. Modernity meets classicism.

Roboto is a coordinated font to read: easy to read (paragraphs, body).

Check them out at Google Fonts.

The new typography system plays an important role in communicating an overall tone and quality. We decided to go with the san-serif font for the legal industry to communicate the importance of the brand's vision to modernize the legal system with innovative solutions.

Gilroy and Inter are our primary and secondary typeface respectively, as both of them are aligned to the principles of the Jur logo, for being geometrically constructed with importance to the kerning and negative space, which make the font cohesive with the logo. Also, the fonts are compact and create better breathing space throughout various design collaterals.

Gilroy is a commercial font but you can find Inter at Google Fonts.
